This is a nice but very busy park. We had a premium site that was right across from the rec hall which is busy until 10pm. If you don't like alot of noise and kids running through your site then get a gravel site away from the rec hall. Our site wasn't level but the hookups worked fine. The staff at the park was fantastic and there plenty of activities, including the San Francisco tour that we highly recommend. The price was high but that's pretty typical of KOA. All told we would stay here again.

Wow, what a great park. The sites were plenty long and wide. The hookups worked great. It was nice and quiet and close to the beaches and the Redwoods. The staff was very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a very nice park. It's only 5 years old so the trees are small. Real easy entry and exit. Staff was fantastic. The sites are long and plenty wide, but ours wasn't level. The hookups worked fine. There is a grocery store, pizza place, and shell station down the road. We will definitely stay there again.

The only thing that I didn't like about this campground was that the sites in our row and the next were a little too short. We all had to park our trucks sideways in front of our trailers, making the road narrow. Some folks had to move their trucks so the people in the next site could pull out. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. The food in the casino was good, staff was friendly. We will stay there again.

After reading reviews from other posters we decided to give Ruby's a chance anyway. What a mistake. The roads in the park are dirt/gravel and are tight. Our site 119 was horrible although others looked the same. It was long but very narrow. The site itself wasn't level. The actual pad you park on was dirt/gravel and like an 8 foot wide mound that was higher than the rest of the site, putting about an extra 7 inches between the bottom step and the ground. The power and water pressure were good. There is no cable, but a few stations come in with the antennae. It was noisy, quiet time doesn't begin until 10:30 pm, and the park has lots of ATV riders. The rate was 43 per night and when I asked about Good Sam the clerk pointed to a sign on the wall that reads NO DISCOUNTS. All told we will never stay there again. Ruby's just isn't worth the money or the aggravation.

This is a small campground about 30 miles from Las Vegas. It's about 20 degrees cooler than the Valley because it's in the mountains. We had site #2 which is a group site which is why the price was so high. The site was long, level and very wide, with 30/50 amp power receptacles. The hosts were so nice. This campground has only about 10-12 sites, so if you want to go on a weekend, I highly recommend reservations. We will definitely stay there again.

This is a very nice park that is well maintained. Our site 31 was big enough, level and had some shade. Unlike some of the previous posters, I found the folks in the office to be very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is there is no cable TV in the park. You can get decent reception on about five stations with the roof antennae. All told we will definitely stay there again.

This is a nice park. We used it as a base camp for seeing spring training baseball as Phoenix is about 45 miles away. The sites are big and level. The park is very well maintained and there are plenty of activities. There is no cable tv, but you will get a few local stations with your roof antennae. We will definitely stay there again. The $25 is Good Sam rate.

The staff was great, the pool and spa were nice, and the proximity to Joshua Tree can't be beat. The site was big and level, but the power was very weak. A water pipe broke and there was no water for the last day and a half of our stay. This park appeared to be mostly made up of residents. It felt more like a trailer park than a campground. There aren't many parks in the area. We probably wouldn't stay there again.

This park was just OK. I didn't think the area was dumpy as some previous posters did. However, the sites are dirt/gravel and tend to get muddy from the inground sprinklers. Do not bother getting a site with cable, as only three channels come in good. We used our antenna and got more channels with better reception. The office closes from noon to three every day. Not a bad base camp to see the national parks, but next time we might try somewhere else as they are all pretty much priced the same.

This park is just about as good as they come. It is true that there is no shade because the park is so new. However, we feel this is more than made up for. The sites are long, paved, and level. The cable tv and wi-fi were free. They have a roving security patrol and the on call shuttle will pick you up and take you anywhere on the grounds. The pool, hot tub and exercise room at the hotel are available to RV park guests. Their regular rate is high at $39, but we got the CampClub rate of $19.50. Without a doubt we will stay there again.

This is a pretty nice park. Our site, number 53, was level, shaded and plenty wide. The hookups worked great, and the cable was outstanding. The park staff was friendly and helpful. They will lend you sports equipment to use on their courts. What really stood out for me was how reasonably priced the camp store was. The $38 nightly rate felt high, but we had four relatives with us that we don't normally travel with. We would stay here again.

This is a very nice Corps of Engineers campground on Lake Carlyle. The sites were huge, ours was over 100 feet long. There was lots of shade and plenty of space between sites. We would definitely stay here again. Think carefully though how close you want to be to the water. A few sites closest to the water had to be closed due to the recent flooding.

The sites were decent sized, but most had no shade. There is no sewer hook up, but there is a dump station. They are also lacking cable TV. The people working there were very nice, and the casino's security patrol regularly drove through. A decent park overall, probably best used as an overnighter. We would probably stay there again.

The side road to this park is very steep. The sites are average size. This parks main attraction is that it's so close to Yellowstone's north entrance. It's a bit spendy but overall a nice park. We would probably stay there again.

This park overlooks the freeway, and we found the road noise at night to be a bit of a problem. A dirt road takes you to the park. The sites were level grass/gravel. The cable TV worked just fine. Because there are so many parks in the Black hills area, we might try another one next time.

This park is a hidden gem. It's close to I-15, but not so close as to hear it. The staff was friendly and helpful. The sites were level and wide. They don't have cable, but the repeater is nearby and you get 8 or so local stations crystal clear. We couldn't have asked for more in a park. We would absolutely stay here again.

This campground in Zion National Park is really nice for a park service campground. The sites were big, we didn't feel cramped at all. We paid $24 per night with electric, and could walk to the visitor center and shuttle. There are 2 dump stations so there was minimal waiting. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Zion.

This was a nice clean park, close to San Diego attractions. The sites are plenty long, but close together. The staff was terrific. I would have rated it higher except for the price. All told, we would stay there again.
